تجري اليوم فعاليات افتتاح محطة توليد الكهرباء IPP3 - أكبر محطة لتوليد الكهرباء بواسطة محركات الاحتراق الداخلي (ICE) على مستوى العالم - في موقع المحطة الذي يقع بالقرب من مدينة عمّان، الأردن. تعمل المحطة بـ 38 محركًا من نوع 50DF متعدد الوقود من شركة وارتسيلا بسعة مجمعة قدرها 573 ميجاوات. واعترافًا بحجم المحطة الذي يعد الأكبر على مستوى العالم من نوعها، فقد دخلت موسوعة جينيس للأرقام القياسية. ...
