The travel and tourism industry as a whole, has been facing an unprecedented and incredibly challenging time.
The Hotel Junction was born out of a desire to support hotel owners and operators get back on their feet and welcoming guests again. Having worked in the business for 30 years, The Hotel Junction founder, set about finding a way to support the industry by addressing some of the most important challenges hotels face today.

Most search and booking websites that are commonly used by hotels and guests alike, charge commission rates of up to 25%. That is a sizeable amount for hoteliers to relinquish, especially in a time of crisis and lowered profits.
This realisation is what started the journey to create an accessible and supportive platform for the worldwide hotel community to join and prosper.
The Hotel Junction was created to provide a platform to help service the industry, free from high charges. Using our simple, subscription model, our hotel partners get to keep 100% of their revenue!
Up until 1st February 2021, it is completely free for hotel partners to join the platform, after which a nominal subscription fee will apply.
As well as making the experience unique and beneficial for hoteliers, it is imperative that we offer an excellent experience to those using our site. We interviewed travellers to understand the most desired features hotel guests require when booking online. We found all agreed that convenience to compare properties - in the same area by segment and price point - were the most important factors.
This has become a key feature of The Hotel Junction site, and our travellers can easily search and compare hotels in their chosen destination and price point for their own research.
When they have located a suitable property and are ready to check availability and book a room, they will be directed to the hotel’s own website.
This works as another benefit to our hotel partners, as our model drives traffic straight through to the hotels, without us taking payment. Effectively, the traveller will immediately become their guest.
Another important element for The Hotel Junction, is building a real sense of community. We will be collating and curating interesting and genuine stories, video content and photography from our hotel partners as well as our members’ experiences. These diverse and interesting features, will be shared on our social media platforms and will form the basis for our quarterly magazine.
The Hotel Junction is a discovery platform that is user friendly, interesting, and fair, and we are very excited to announce its launch today.
