The Bureau Dubai hosts a weekend to celebrate Women in Business in their Social Workspace in Downtown Dubai

Sunday March 8th 2015, Dubai- The Bureau Dubai, asocial workspace that provides support for local SMEs and entrepreneurs to grow and develop, had their first annual Women in Business Celebration. The Event was to promote networking among female entrepreneurs in Dubai showcasing some up and coming brands who are part of The Bureau Dubai family. They also hosted an evening of talks, discussions and performances by local public speakers and singers.

The event was held on Friday & Saturday 6th & 7th March, just in time for International Womens Day on the 8th of March, with the presence of notable business personalities and successful female entrepreneurs.

The event featured home grown brands such as Bowery & Fourth, an up and coming fashion label catered for Women in the workplace and guest speaker Lina Habib Naifeh, Founder of Donyalmraa and Media Blends, who gave a talk on Arab women in the digital world.

Located in Downtown Dubai, The Bureau Dubai was created as a response to the growing needs of a fast flourishing Startup community in the UAE that is actively impacting the local economy. Its main mandate is to support and empower Startups & SMEs through a wide range of professional services; from incubation, mentoring, licensing and office support solutions.

The excellent response to this event shows there is a growing community of women in business in Dubai and in region as a whole who can support and grow together building strong brands, creating innovative Startups and breaking "the glass ceiling" to reach the top in the corporate ladder.
