Healthigo acquires DrFive creating the largest patient focused platform in the region

Healthigo announced today the acquisition of DrFive, and merger of their business operations to offer an enhanced doctor booking and patient experience solution to the consumer, healthcare provider, and insurance markets.

Healthigo provides care-seekers a single platform to connect with all stakeholders in their healthcare journey. With more than 18,000 doctors at 2400+ healthcare providers mapped to 100+ insurance providers in UAE, Healthigo allows for personalised search, instant appointment booking, offers & promotions, as well as contextual health & wellness articles. Healthigo’s unique business model is working in partnership with global insurance providers providing a market leading and disruptive healthcare solution. 

DrFive is UAE’s biggest healthcare review platform with over 640,000 users since its launch. Analysing patient reviews, DrFive helps patients find the right doctors and healthcare providers. It also provides instant quotes for patients looking for dental services, health packages and deals based on individual needs.

The acquisition will help provide easier access and informed decision making for members and employees of Insurance and corporate enterprises, as well as the general public. Both Aleco El Hayek and Chiho Rim, co-founders of DrFive will join Healthigo management team driving user-base growth and partnership expansion.
