IIUI & ALRAZHI GROUP SIGNED MOU FOR INTEGRATTING ROBOTICS IN IIUI SCHOOLS

Al Razihi Group (Robotami)Education devision and International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) have penned an MoU of collaboration for integrating robotics in IIUI Schools across Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The MoU has been signed between Institute of Professional Development (IPD) of IIUI and Robotami of Alrazhi group between the IIUI Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai and Khaled Al Aswadi Head RoboTami MEA has signed the agreement at Faisal Masjid campus.

It is mentionable that IIUI is mulling to include robotics in IIUI schools’ curriculum amid this collaboration. Earlier, couple of days ago both IPD and Robotami organized seminar, where more than 200 teachers were trained for use of Robotics in comprehensive education in IIUI Schools.  International speakers from South Korea, UAE, New Zealand, Philippines participated in the day-long event. 500 delegates from throughout Pakistan participated in the seminar while, faculty members from Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) and Faculty of Basic and Applied  Sciences (FBAS) and  Students also attended the seminar.

IIUI Rector said on the occasion that we would have to review our educational system and we must have to add the attribute of critical thinking in it. He said we lack encouragement of curiosity and learning new things. He continued that children must be introduced to advancements from basic level. He hailed the agreement and termed it as a good omen to step forward in critical thinking and learning new technologies from school level.

Mr. Khaled Al Aswadi representative of the Robotami presented a memento of two LABs to IIUI Rector and said we are keen to introduce new trends that will improve our children education.

Dr. Saeed ul Hasan Chishti, Director IPD, IIUI Schools told that for the first time in Pakistan, Robotics is being included in the curriculum of IIUI Schools from the next session of IIUI Schools.

Al Razihi Group Robotami would have a plan to expand in the entire country in the year 2018 by organizing awareness campaigns across the country. Furthermore, Al Razihi has also announced robotic teachers training plan with the creative convergence of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics.
