Raytheon to host cyber security technology forum in Riyadh
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia., Fleming Gulf's Kingdom Cyber Security Forum will take place on 12th and 13th of May 2014 at the InterContinental Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The cyber security forum is a unique leadership platform that brings together industry, government and academic interests in an effort to improve the state of cyber security on both a domestic and international level. Michael Daly, the chief technology officer for Cybersecurity and Special Missions within Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services, will speak on "Cybersecurity and the Internet of Things." The "Internet of Things" is a concept that focuses on machines interacting with each other--in addition to interacting with people--to create new data. Mr. Daly will discuss the importance of securing information ecosystem and the importance of information assurance, big data processing and analytics to predict threats, and vulnerability and threat assessment processes and techniques. Raytheon in partnership with Sultan bin Adbul-Aziz Science and Technology Center (Scitech) and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals "KFUPM", will launch its internationally highly acclaimed MathAlive! exhibition from May 28 to June 21, 2014 in Al Khobar.
