Swiss luxury watch exhibition opens in Hamad International Airport

Omega, Longines and Tissot brands introduced to Qatar Duty Free’s extensive collection

DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Duty Free’s luxury watch fair will showcase more than 600 internationally acclaimed timepieces in Hamad International Airport, Doha, throughout May and June providing the very best in reliable timepieces for watch enthusiasts and global travellers who always want to be on time.

Omega, Longines and Tissot watches will join the extensive range of brands available to buy from Qatar Duty Free and will sit alongside some of the world’s leading luxury watches from IWC Schaffhausen, Rado, Baume & Mercier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Hublot and TAGHeuer. 

Qatar Duty Free has chosen the latest creations and exquisite collections from nine legendary Swiss watchmakers that will inspire all watch enthusiasts. From classic and elegant traditional styling to master complications and specialist diver watches, bold luxury fashion designs to retro favourites, passengers travelling through HIA will be able to choose from an exclusive array of watches to find a favourite that reflects their personal style.

Passengers will receive expert buying advice from Qatar Duty Free staff available at the watch boutique, which is located behind the Lamp Bear in HIA’s departure hall.

In addition to the watch fair passengers will discover more than 70 shops and boutiques and 30 cafés and restaurants each offering exceptional product ranges, from affordable to luxury brands, and outstanding customer service. Qatar Duty Free was recently announced as a global favourite as one of the world’s top five airports for shopping in the 2016 Skytrax World Airport Awards voted for by more than 12.5 million travellers.
